Ever wondered how TikTok knows what videos you'll like? Or how Spotify creates the perfect playlist? Unlock these secrets with Python—the language powering everything from Instagram to NASA!

Python is widely known as being the cornerstone of data science and is one of the most in-demand programming languages today. These classes will teach students the fundamentals of programming in Python, best coding practices, and visualizing data with Python. We’ll introduce students to datasets and data manipulation in Python so that they are prepared to make their own project with any dataset they want.

  • Create your own projects using real-world data (sports stats, climate patterns, music trends—you pick!)

  • Learn to write code that actually works (and impress your friends with your tech skills)

  • Use the same tools as professional developers and data scientists

  • Team up with ChatGPT to solve problems faster than ever

  • Show off your findings in eye-catching visualizations that tell powerful stories

Advanced Scratch Block-Based Coding
$150.00

Fall 2025, 5 Weekend Classes for 1hr, Dates TBD

Pre-requisite: Scratch: Block-Based Coding or be familiar with building Scratch games

Learning how to code successfully involves building, improving, and creating your own projects. With Scratch, kids will learn how to design various advanced projects and master the basics of variables, conditions, loops, and the coordinate system.

Kids will master these programming concepts with emphasis placed on structured and independent play.

This course will use block-based coding as a tool to help learners develop computational thinking skills and effective group collaboration. Kids will have the chance to exercise creativity, problem-solving, and have fun! Learn more about the Scratch platform here.

Foundations of AI
$150.00

Fall 2025, 5 Weekend Classes for 1hr, Dates TBD

Pre-requisite: Intro to AI and Python or have prior Python skills

This dynamic 5-week course transforms teens from AI consumers to AI creators through hands-on projects and interactive learning. Starting with AI fundamentals and history, students quickly progress to building real applications including a personalized chatbot and image recognition system using Python. Each week blends accessible theory with immediate application, using pre-built code scaffolding that allows students to focus on AI concepts rather than debugging.

Students will explore the diverse AI landscape—from rule-based systems to machine learning and computer vision—while developing projects connected to their personal interests. The curriculum balances technical skills with ethical discussions, emphasizing how AI impacts daily life. Key projects include:

  • "ExpertBot" - a customized topical chatbot

  • "ObjectSpotter" - an image recognition application

By course end, students will understand AI's core concepts, recognize its various applications, and have created multiple functioning AI systems of their own.

Get ready to level up!

Our 6-12th grade programs are perfect for students who:

  • Are curious about creating with code rather than just consuming technology

  • Enjoy solving puzzles and figuring out how things work

  • Want to build impressive digital projects they can showcase

  • Are interested in exploring potential career paths in technology

  • Desire a creative outlet that combines logic and imagination

  • Are ready to develop practical skills that extend beyond the classroom

Students can start their journey wherever they are—complete beginners will discover coding fundamentals through accessible tools like Minecraft Education, while those with previous experience can challenge themselves in our advanced Python data science track. We meet each student at their current skill level and guide them toward their next achievement. Students can start as early as 6th grade with no coding background and ultimately graduate high school with college-ready programming portfolios!
